Based on the American Bar Association book,
Leadership for Lawyers
, author Herb Rubenstein, member of the DC, MD, and VA Bars, and the New York City Bar Association, offers this course to improve the leadership skills of lawyers interested in gaining a competitive advantage in the profession. The course will cover: Successful leadership approaches in litigation and trials; leadership approaches to improve your negotiation outcomes; how to lead your clients; a basic review of leadership theory and leadership styles; and, how to become a leader in the legal profession and in the communities where you live and participate.
Participants of this course will receive a copy of the book
Leadership for Lawyers
and will have the opportunity to evaluate themselves before and after the course on nine key areas that help determine how successful you are and will be as a leader. In these challenging economic times for lawyers and law firms, this course will provide lawyers from all areas of private practice, including in-house counsel, government and nonprofit sector lawyers, international lawyers, and those who teach law clear guidance on how to become a better leader.
