The 93 U.S. Attorney's offices, a division of the U.S. Department of Justice, represent the federal government in criminal and civil matters before the United States district and circuit courts. Each U.S. Attorney's office is staffed by numerous Assistant U.S. Attorneys, who serve as prosecutors in criminal matters, and the government's litigation counsel in civil matters in some of the most interesting and important litigation occurring in the United States courts. The panel includes representatives from the U.S. Attorney's Offices for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, who will discuss the application process and efforts made to increase diversity among applicants in their judicial districts.
