This CLE offers the perspective of landlord and tenant counsel, and litigators who will discuss clauses critical to a successful retail lease. Some of the topics to be discussed include: co-tenancy, use provisions and exclusive rights, the tenant improvement allowance, restoration obligations, signage and exit strategies. The panel will use a mock presentation of a negotiation as a means to keep the material interesting and highlight the depth of its presenting panel. The two litigators on the panel will provide an added perspective that is most informative for transactional attorneys. This program is most appropriate for attorneys with some leasing experience.
