Description

This year’s Employment Law Institute will examine current trends, developments, and cutting-edge issues in employment and labor law. Topics to be discussed in two tracks include critical issues in Executive Compensation, an overview of the National Labor Relations Act and current trends in union organizing and collective bargaining. Participants will learn about the evolving law of restrictive covenants and New York State’s proposed ban on non-compete, as well as strategies for effective pre-litigation dispute resolution. The Institute will also feature a plenary session addressing legal issues associated with emerging technologies (AI) and employment law. We will also discuss navigating the intersection of cybersecurity, AI, and ethics. Esteemed in-house counsel and top practitioners from both the plaintiffs’ and defense bar will be our honored guest speakers. Junior and senior employment lawyers and in-house counsel who handle employment matters should not miss this program!
