Description:
Join us for a discussion on the ongoing conflict in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) between the M23 rebel group and the Congolese government. Long-standing ethnic tensions, struggles over natural resources and geopolitical rivalries are fueling the conflict, while civilians are bearing the violence. Despite multiple regional peace efforts, clashes between the Congolese army and M23 persist, with growing concerns over the role of external actors, particularly Rwanda. The conversation will analyze current developments and explore potential pathways for peace and regional stability.
