Description:
Internationally acclaimed author and Global CEO of Compassion in World Farming, Philip Lymbery, will discuss the issues taken on in his latest book, Sixty Harvests Left: How to Reach a Nature-Friendly Future. He will address the behind the scenes of industrial farming and confront "Big Agriculture," where mega-farms, chemicals, and animal cages are sweeping the countryside and jeopardizing the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and the nature we treasure. Philip is also the author of Farmageddon and Dead Zone: Where the Wild Things Were, two highly impactful books that analyze similar issues.
