Join us for a conversation with Professor Angela Fernandez, author of
Pierson v Post, The Hunt for the Fox
: Law and Professionalization in American Legal Culture
, about the most famous property case in American Legal History. She retells the story tracing how an argument between two wealthy young men on Long Island, New York became the cornerstone of property law. Her book also seeks to highlight the link between Pierson and Animal Law, and between animals and personhood.
