Description:
The panel will discuss hot topics in mass tort Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases including future claims representative issues; negotiation and consensus-building in the mass tort context; and third party co-defendant issues and strategies. Attendees will gain the following three key benefits from the program: 1) how to build consensus among parties with divergent interests in a mass tort bankruptcy; 2) how to evaluate future claims representative appointments and related conflict issues; and 3) how to deal with jurisdiction, venue and related issues with respect to non-debtor co-defendants. There will be a networking reception following the panel.
