Description:
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) is an area of corporate law dealing with companies that are purchasing and/or merging with other companies. It is a diverse practice area which touches upon many other areas of law including antitrust, environmental, employee benefits, and tax law. These transactions are complex deals that often have an international/cross-border component. Distinguished panelists will discuss their careers in M&A law and offer advice on how you too can break into the field and succeed. For experienced attorneys, career progression will be discussed, as well as in-house opportunities for those with M&A experience.
