Description:
The First Amendment continues to encounter significant legal and institutional challenges, prompting renewed examination of its strength and durability. This program will feature a panel of attorneys from media, academia, private practice, and nonprofit organizations who will discuss recent First Amendment litigation and consider the current state of First Amendment protections.

The panel will offer perspectives on whether existing legal frameworks and litigation efforts are sufficient to preserve this fundamental right, as well as the broader role of the legal profession in its defense. Designed to encourage thoughtful and balanced dialogue, this program is intended for members of the legal community and the public interested in constitutional law and the ongoing vitality of the First Amendment.
