While 529 college savings plans have been around over 25 years, nearly two-thirds of Americans are still unfamiliar with them and those who are familiar do not fully understand their features and benefits. Join us to hear from 529 plan experts about 529 plan features most frequently overlooked or misunderstood – including where and how these accounts can be used, ways employers can offer and match contributions to them, what options account owners have if funds are not used, how friends and family can contribute to 529 plan accounts for holidays and other special occasions, and what the latest developments with these plans have been.
