NYC's peaker plants play an important role in ensuring the reliability of electricity in New York but balancing the need for affordable and reliable electricity with the associated social and environmental impacts is no small feat. Join us for an engaging panel conversation about the history, current state, and future of NYC's electric peaker plants. Topics to be discussed include current and future demands on our grid, the reliability and affordability of our electricity, New York State's renewable energy generation goals, and environmental justice issues.
