Friday Evening Chamber Music at the Association
Friday, December 14, 2018 | 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Join us for a casual evening of chamber music performed by professional musicians, lawyers, and other lovers of classical music. Registration is not required. The concert is open to everyone for a suggested donation of $10. Please direct questions to chambermusic@nycbar.org.

  • Various art songs; opera arias and duets- Maria Luisa Palmese (Soprano) and friends,
  • Massenet: "Meditation for Thais" and Faure: "Sonata No. 2"-Marina Kors (Piano) and Claire Detko (Violin); 
  • Franz Schubert: "Shepherd on the Rock"-Claire Chino (Soprano), Maiko Sasaki (Clarinet) and Piano (TBA); and
  • Sergei Prokofiev: "Peter and the Wolf" (Transcribed for wind quintet and narrator, by Ronald Krentzman)- David Moldenhauer (Horn); Abbe Krieger (Flute), Suzette Jacobs (Oboe), Aaron Abramovitz (Clarinet), Kukiko Mitani (Bassoon) and Gary Novosielski (Narration)
