Description
:
How can Latin American governments fight corruption and public mistrust to build a sustainable and efficient housing system for their low-income populations? Ms. Soledad Nuñez will provide an overview of her work as the former Paraguayan Minister of Housing and Habitat, where she transformed the ministry from an institution that was focused only on housing to one that is responsible for coordinating the implementation of Paraguay’s comprehensive and sustainable urban development policy. She will detail her successful efforts to increase efficiency and productivity, which resulted in the production of housing for more than 30,000 families.
