Description:
In July 2022, Heinzel Group announced that it had agreed to become a strategic equity investor in Paracel, a forestry and pulp mill project which has become the largest private investment in Paraguay’s history. In this lecture, Heinzel Group CEO Sebastian Heinzel will discuss the opportunities and challenges of investing in Latin America, particularly in non-traditional businesses and places, and the role the region can play in a global industry. He will also describe how projects like Paracel plan to contribute to the fight against global warming, improve community life and increase biodiversity in the region.
