Description:
Colombia and the United States established diplomatic relations on June 19,1822. As recognized by the United States Department of State, “[t]he United States and Colombia share a commitment to promoting security, prosperity, and democratic governance in Colombia and across the Western Hemisphere.”
To commemorate the bicentennial of diplomatic relations between Colombia and the United States, Ambassador Juan Carlos Pinzón Bueno will speak about the history of the countries’ binational relationship, their partnership, and the political challenges that both countries face. These remarks will be followed by a panel discussion to be followed by a Q&A session featuring the ambassador and ProColombia USA focused on the boundless opportunities to invest and do business in Colombia.
