Description:
Immigration law touches almost every aspect of legal practice. The field itself is constantly changing. Despite a slow-down in many fields of law, the need and the demand for immigration attorneys has been rising. There is more than one way to be part of the immigration bar. Join us to hear from a panel of diverse immigration practitioners, each representing a different way you can practice immigration law. Panelists will discuss the many dimensions of immigration law from individual representation to policy. The program will focus on the journey of each panelist, how they got to where they are, what their jobs entail, and entry points into their specializations. This event will feature a moth-style story telling panel as well as the opportunity to engage in small groups with practitioners to learn about their work and seek advice on your own professional journey.
