Slamming the Golden Door: The New Public Charge Rule and Immigration

Description:
The U.S. government has issued a regulation that will go into effect in October, which will dramatically alter who can qualify for permanent immigration status in the United States. This event will provide information on who is affected by the rule, what public benefits are implicated, and provide updates on litigation efforts to stop the change in the law.
