Tuesday, October 16, 2018 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Program Fee: Free for Members | $15 for Non-Members

Description:
Latin America has recently witnessed a dramatic rise in activity in the impact investing space, both in terms of capital raised by domestic and international fund sponsors and operating companies accepting impact investments. Mexico, Brazil and Colombia, in particular, have all seen a significant increase in capital raised and deployed, despite the political transitions taking place in each country. The panel discussion will allow participants to hear diverse perspectives on Impact Investing in Latin America, including views from local and international impact capital allocators, recipients of impact investments and broad market observers. The panel will cover trends in fundraising, fund structures and strategies for capital deployment, start-up incubators, and alternatives in types of impact investing instruments. Panelists will also cover key considerations in deploying capital and operating in various Latin American jurisdictions from a legal, regulatory and industry perspective.
