While registration is complimentary, donations to the Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP) are welcome and appreciated. As part of the 501(c)(3) arm of the City Bar, LAP provides free, confidential help to legal professionals, staff, family members and colleagues.

This year’s virtual program will honor Roger Juan Maldonado. As the 68th President of the New York City Bar Association, Roger was an enthusiastic supporter of the Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP), which has been helping lawyers with alcohol/substance-use issues, depression and mental health disorders, stress and other challenges as never before during the pandemic. 

The program will also feature remarks from U.S. Representative Jamie Raskin. 

We hope you will join in supporting this important work to protect the health and well-being of the legal profession.
