Description:
The Americas are entering a period of accelerated economic and geopolitical recalibration. Trade architecture is under review, supply chains are being reengineered, capital is reallocating across borders, and governance models are evolving in ways that directly affect investment certainty and long-term growth. From North America’s treaty framework and the USMCA review to nearshoring, financial resilience, regional reform cycles, and shifting transatlantic capital flows, structural change is reshaping the hemisphere.

The New York City Bar Latin America Summit convenes policymakers, industry leaders, financial institutions, and practitioners to assess where these forces are converging—and how strategic decisions must adapt. Throughout the program, macroeconomic and geopolitical analysis is paired with a practical lens on risk: enforcement trends, compliance expectations, dispute resolution mechanisms, and institutional stability. In an environment where legal exposure and regulatory scrutiny increasingly shape capital deployment and corporate strategy, risk is no longer peripheral to growth—it is integral to it.
