Join us for a special introduction to the Japanese Way of Tea, a centuries-old tradition centered on mindfulness, hospitality, and connection.

Kukiko Mitani, a Japanese tea instructor affiliated with the Urasenke Chanoyu Center, will guide attendees through a talk and demonstration exploring the traditions and practices of Japanese tea. Following the demonstration, participants will have an opportunity to taste matcha and experience elements of a traditional tea gathering firsthand.

Whether you are familiar with Japanese tea culture or experiencing it for the first time, this gathering offers an opportunity to pause, connect, and experience a meaningful cultural tradition in a welcoming setting.
