Description:
Join us as award-winning legal affairs journalist John Ryan gives a presentation and discussion on his book America's Trial: Torture and the 9/11 Case on Guantanamo Bay, a comprehensive account of the 9/11 case and journalistic memoir about the challenges of having Guantanamo Bay as a second home. Since 2015, John has attended every hearing in the September 11 case and authored more than 100 articles on the proceedings, twice winning a New York Press Club Award for his work.  John will be joined by Terry Rockerfeller, Founding Member, September 11 Families for Peaceful Tomorrows (the only 9/11 victim family group with official NGO observer status) who will discuss will discuss her experiences attending the Guantanamo proceedings
