Description:
Join us as we come together as a community to explore books that relate to mindfulness, well-being and how they relate to our lives as lawyers.

This month we will be discussing The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom by Don Miguel Ruiz.

The book presents four simple yet powerful principles for creating a life of personal freedom and happiness. Rooted in ancient Toltec wisdom, these principles are meant to help individuals break free from the beliefs, fears, and emotional patterns that limit their potential.  Ruiz reveals the source of self-limiting beliefs that rob us of joy and create needless suffering. The Four Agreements offer a powerful code of conduct that can rapidly transform our lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness, and love.

While we encourage you to read the book, it is not necessary to have completed the book to participate. We will base our discussion on the themes that the book explores, which are universal themes and not solely dependent on the content of the book. There are articles and YouTube videos about this book and topic that you can utilize. This book is available on Amazon, Bookshop, and your local public library or your local public library or independent bookstore. We look forward to engaging as a community through books on how mindfulness can help us live better lives.
