Description:
One of the biggest roadblocks that legal professionals face is how hard they are on themselves. Research shows that a strong inner critic can fuel procrastination, anxiety, and burnout, while self-compassion supports resilience, motivation, and productivity. This program takes a scientific and evolutionary look at the inner critic to illuminate how it develops, the role it plays, and how harsh judgments can be transformed into clearer and more skillful discernment. Drawing on psychological strategies, wisdom traditions, and simple meditation practices, participants will explore practical ways to ease a harsh inner voice and cultivate healthier, more empowering ways of relating to the past, present, and future.
