Description:
Join us every other month as we come together as a community to explore books that relate to mindfulness, well-being and how they relate to our lives as lawyers.

This month we will be discussing Aware: The Science and Practice of Presence by Daniel J. Siegel.

Aware provides practical instruction for mastering the Wheel of Awareness, a life-changing tool for cultivating more focus, presence, and peace in one's day-to-day life.  Whether you have no experience with a reflective practice or are an experienced practitioner, Aware is a hands-on guide that will enable you to become more focused and present, as well as more energized and emotionally resilient in the face of stress and the everyday challenges life throws your way.

While we encourage you to read the book, it is not necessary to have completed the book to participate. We will base our discussion on the themes that the book explores, which are universal themes and not solely dependent on the content of the book. There are articles and YouTube videos about this book and topic that you can utilize. This book is available at Amazon, Bookshop, and your local public library or independent bookstore.

We look forward to engaging as a community through books on how mindfulness can help us live better lives.
