Mentoring Circle: Skills for the Current Legal Job Market

Mentoring Circle: Skills for the Current Legal Job Market
Thursday, April 25, 2019 | 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Program Fee: Free for Members, Graduates or Students of Sponsoring Schools, and New Lawyer Enrichment Program (NLEP) Participants | $15 for Members of Non-Sponsoring Schools | $35 for Non-Members

Being successful in the current legal job market requires many skills, some are unique to being a lawyer and other skills are essential regardless of what your job entails. In this mentoring circle, we will explore key skills you will need to develop to be most effective at work. This program will explore employer competencies and development structures to gain a better understanding of the skills legal employers are expecting from their employees. We will also discuss ways that you can “trip yourself up” at work to help avoid sticky situations and empower you to address them when they arise.
