Even in normal times, networking and interviewing are essential skills for new lawyers. Most jobs are not found through public postings, but rather through personal connections and referrals. In the wake of COVID-19, networking and interviewing have become even more critical amidst an uncertain market. But lawyers must be ready to build their networks and interview for jobs largely online. While some skills translate easily from the physical world to the virtual world, others may feel less intuitive. This panel of experienced attorneys and expert networkers will focus on strategies that will help you build your network and your career in the context of the pandemic. This program is part of a series by the New Lawyer Institute to support recent law school graduates.
