Description:
Even in normal times, networking and interviewing are essential skills for new lawyers. Most jobs are not found through public postings, but rather through personal connections and referrals. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, networking and interviewing have become even more critical amidst an uncertain market. But lawyers must be ready to build their networks and interview for jobs largely online. While some skills translate easily from the physical world to the virtual world, others may feel less intuitive. Our speakers will focus on strategies that will help you build your network and your career in a post-pandemic world. This program is part of a series by the New Lawyer Institute to support recent law school graduates.

Speakers:

Kasey Stein, Associate Director, Recruitment, White & Case LLP

Kelly Capozzi, Legal Recruiter, Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC

Latoya Jeffers, Deputy Chief, Recruitment Bureau, Office of the District Attorney Bronx County
