Description:
In recent years, law student recruitment has become increasingly chaotic. Some large firms are making offers to students during their very first semester of school, even before their first grades or internship experiences. Employers, students, and law schools alike bemoan this situation, yet they are trapped in a race to the bottom. Antitrust concerns have made the industry wary of coordinating schedules. As a result, each recruitment cycle begins earlier and earlier. How can the legal community come together to fix the broken system of on-campus recruitment? This panel of experts will examine the problem from legal, educational, and pragmatic angles, and engage in discussion over potential solutions.
