Description:
Diversity and inclusion policies in the legal profession are often based on premises that may not apply uniformly across different countries or regions.  Given the cultural and historical differences that abound in Latin America (stemming from, among other things, the different colonial histories and political movements found in each of the countries in the region), the approaches often discussed in the United States may not work well in different Latin American countries.  This unique panel of in-house professionals in the United States and Latin America, will share their experiences and views on the similarities, contrasts, and unique issues faced by diversity and inclusion policies across the Americas, as well as discuss how institutions are moving forward with increasingly tailored solutions.
