Description:
Most lawyers say to their clients: “Get it in writing!” However, a
number of lawyers do not know the fundamentals of drafting a binding
contract. This course is an introduction for lawyers who are looking to
create an agreement from scratch. Attendees will learn the overall
structure of a contract and its parts, translating the terms and
conditions of the deal into clear and concise provisions, and figuring
out where to place each provision into a solid written agreement. In
accordance with the CLE Board’s revised Regulations and Guidelines, if
you attended this program in the past you may not be permitted to apply
the CLE credit for this program to fulfill you current CLE requirements.
