Description:
A discussion of the most significant areas of grievances
against lawyers and how practicing attorneys can manage those situations
to create strong client confidence and working relationships. The
course will discuss the three most common ethical complaints, strategies
to avoid them from the beginning, the need for effective, ongoing and
candid communications, and protecting yourself from misunderstandings.
We’ll discuss, interviewing skills resulting in reasonable expectations,
contracts, controlling the narrative, billing strategies for success,
and responding to complaints effectively.
