Panels of industry, legal, and regulatory experts will discuss recent developments in cryptocurrency and digital assets and measures to enhance investor protection and market integrity on trading and lending platforms. Concerns about the segregation of customer funds, cryptocurrency custody issues, and innovative safeguards for client accounts will be explored. In addition, panelists will discuss regulatory and industry developments to reduce the risk of loss and misuse of customer funds and protect cryptocurrency/digital assets and related derivatives. Attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of lessons learned from recent failures of cryptocurrency firms and different perspectives on developing the right regulatory framework to promote responsible blockchain-enabled innovation.
