Description:
Legal practice is just that: practice. Every day, lawyers make
decisions that affect their clients, and possibly themselves. Many of
those decisions are good, some are debatable, and a few are just dumb.
Join us as we discuss some of the dumb things lawyers do, and explain
how attorneys can avoid obvious mistakes arising from unthinking action
or inaction. Among other things, we’ll discuss the pitfalls of holding
client money, how to handle multiple client representation, the
ever-present risks of disclosing confidential information, and managing
social media involvement. Finally, we’ll provide guidance on preventing
time and money lost in defending related claims and complaints.
