New, improved appellate practice has arrived in New York. Learn about
the scope of the changes, the new digital requirements, and the
differences remaining between the four Departments from the experts: the
Honorable Alan D. Scheinkman, Presiding Justice of the Appellate
Division, Second Department; Jacquelyn Mouquin, Senior Appellate Counsel
at AppealTech; Vince Chirico, an experienced appellate practitioner;
Susanna Rojas, Clerk of the Appellate Division, First Department; and
Aprilanne Agostino, Clerk of the Appellate Division, First Department.
Topics will include a summary of the Electronic Filing Rules of the
Appellate Division, a discussion of the Statewide Practice Rules of the
Appellate Division, local rules for each Department, an overview of
navigating the Appellate Division NYSCEF interface and forms, and more.
