Description:
Electronic information permeates our society in ever increasing volumes and varieties. Indeed, in this time of COVID-19, when social distancing and brick-and-mortar businesses are closed, electronic information will become even more central. This two-part webinar will explore the discovery and use of electronic information in civil litigation, as well as ethical concerns arising out of attorney use of electronic information. Part One, the first hour, will look at competence, confidentiality, and supervision issues for attorneys in the use of that information. Part Two, the second hour, will focus on preservation, search, production, and spoliation of electronic information. Questions will be taken throughout both parts.
