Description:
This course will provide a primer on Estate Planning practice. Attendees will learn about the default regimes under the law for the passing of property as a consequence of someone’s death, the use of Wills and Trusts to override those intestacy defaults, the ancillary documents that form the remainder of a complete estate plan, and practical tips and considerations for the due execution of estate planning documents.
