Description:

This ethics program is designed especially for in-house counsel and outside counsel advising their in-house clients. Using a stimulating series of hypotheticals based on real-life experience, a panel of experts will review a variety of important professional responsibility issues that affect corporate counsel on a daily basis. Topics to be addressed include:

  • Strategy in Corporate Internal Investigations;
  • Rule 1.14 “Up the Chain” Issues;
  • In-House Counsel Liability for Misstatements;
  • Use of Non-Disclosure Agreements;
  • Discoverability of Internal Investigation Materials;
  • Corporate Miranda Issues;
  • Ethical Limits on Witness Preparation and Related Privilege Issues; and
  • Ethical Use of Personal Emails of Corporate Constituents.

Program Fee:

$199 for Members | $299 for Nonmembers

This program is free to Members who are Recent Law Graduates, Newly Admitted Lawyers (admitted for the first time in 2021-2023), In-House Counsel, Judges, or Attorneys  in  Government, Academic or Not-for-Profit sectors.
