Description:
The 32nd annual program on Current Issues in Insurance Regulation features regional and national leaders exploring topical issues of importance to the insurance industry, with opportunities for questions and interaction with the faculty. As in prior programs, we will address up-to-the-minute, cutting edge regulatory and other emerging issues affecting the insurance industry and consumers alike, with a focus on New York and national issues. The program will begin with a keynote address by Adrienne Harris, Superintendent, New York State Department of Financial Services, led by Jim Wrynn, Senior Managing Director, FTI. Among the topics for this year’s program are:

• Private Equity in Insurance: Industry Impact and Regulatory Response
• Insurance Industry General Counsel Current Issues Roundtable
• A Commissioners’ Roundtable showcasing the vantage point of state-insurance regulators
