Description:
On October 1, 2016, the new Unified Rules for Attorney Disciplinary
Matters went into effect. Join us for this rare opportunity to hear from
the different players involved, from those who drafted, commented on,
and signed the Rules into law, to those who are charged with
implementing the Rules as they enforce the New York Rules of
Professional Conduct. The panel will discuss recent cases decided under
the new Rules - the effects procedurally on investigations, timing,
sanctions, and more. Hear more about the two most welcomed changes by
the defense bar - Discipline by Consent and Diversion.
