Members who are Law Students, Recent Law Graduates, Newly Admitted Lawyers (admitted for the first time in any state or country 2022-2024), In-House/Corporate Counsel, Judges, and attorney members who practice within the Government, Academic or Not-for-Profit sectors attend this program for free.

Description:
This presentation will focus on how small law firms and solo practitioners can navigate compliance with Local Law 97, a NYC regulation that limits the greenhouse gas emissions from most buildings over 25,000 feet, while representing their clients in NYC real estate transactions - particularly those representing purchasers of coop/condo units, coop/condo boards. as well as commercial tenants or owners.

Connecticut: Available to Licensed Attorneys


For New York Attorneys: 
Newly admitted attorneys (those admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less) may participate in Skills CLE courses in  live, nontraditional formats, where questions are allowed during the program (through December 31, 2024 per recent guidance of the CLE Board – for more information, click here).  

For New York Attorneys: This program is a transitional/non-transitional course.
