Description:
After decades of speculation and anticipation, in 2018, the four
departments of the Appellate Division enacted comprehensive rules that
changed appellate practice in New York State. This program will provide a
detailed overview of the new rules, including appeals requiring
electronic filing, the implementation of the statewide practice rules of
the appellate division, and individual department rules. An expert
panel comprised of representatives from the Appellate Division and a
seasoned appellate attorney will provide insight into the best practices
for navigating these new changes.
Who Should Attend: Appellate practitioners and litigators who may find themselves engaged in an appeal
