Description: 
This event will further explain the Supreme Court’s recent decisions in -- the Oil States Energy Services v. Greene's Energy Group and SAS Institute Inc. v. Iancu -- regarding Inter Partes Review (IPR). At the event, the panel will present the viewpoint of the petitioner in filing for an IPR and the viewpoint of the patent owner or respondent. The event will focus largely on the IPR proceedings, filing deadlines, and post-grant procedures at the USPTO. The speakers will also cover the current post-grant procedures include Post Grant Review (PGR) and Covered Business Method Review (CBM). The event will conclude with a discussion of new rules, guidance from the USPTO regarding IPRs and post-grant patent proceedings.
