Description:
Join us for an engaging fireside chat with Hon. Rowan Wilson, Chief Judge of the New York State Court of Appeals. This conversation will explore the journey to becoming a judge, the challenges and rewards of judicial service, and the evolving role of the judiciary in shaping the law. Whether you are an aspiring judge, a legal professional, or simply interested in the judicial process, this discussion will offer valuable insights into the path to the bench and the responsibilities that come with it. 
 
Following the fireside chat, attendees will have an opportunity to meet with judges in small groups. Groups will be organized into the following courts: New York Supreme, Bronx Supreme, Queens/Richmond/Kings Supreme, Housing Court, Family/Criminal Court, Federal (District, Bankruptcy, and Magistrate Judges).

An updated How to Become a Judge Brochure will also be available to attendees.
