City Bar Policy & Legislative Advocacy: Getting Involved as a Committee Member
Annual Breakfast with the City Bar's Policy Department

Thursday, November 14, 2019, 8:30 am - 10:30 am

There is no charge for this program but registration is required.
A light breakfast will be served.

NY CLE CREDIT: 1.5 Skills

Join us for an opportunity to learn how you can become involved in policy work and advocacy as a City Bar Committee member. Network with other committee members as we give an overview of the legislative process and discuss how you can work with the Policy Department to help communicate and advance your committee’s policy positions.

NEW THIS YEAR! SOCIAL MEDIA TRAINING: We will be providing an optional social media training from 10:00 – 10:30 am.  Social media is a critical component of advocacy that, when used effectively, can help amplify your message and engage allies. This training will provide attendees with an overview of how the City Bar uses social media to help promote committees’ policy positions and how our members can get involved in those efforts. We hope you will stay at the end of our main program to learn more!
