To provide guidance and insight as to the challenges and obstacles faced by first-generation lawyers and the different ways, they overcame them. The panel will include attorneys from public interest agencies and private practice. The panelists will provide background as to their area of work, how they came to specialize in their particular areas of law, and their first-generation experiences. The discussion will also include ways to use the first-generation experience during the legal hiring process.
