Once upon a time, on-campus interviewing was an organized pathway for law student hiring. But now, it is neither “on-campus” nor “organized.” The new free market hiring practices have turned timelines and processes upside-down. With increasingly early marketing and deadlines, many law students are worrying about recruitment during their first couple months of their 1L year. This situation has created challenges for students, employers, and law schools alike. This expert panel will assess the situation and offer potential pathways for managing through the chaos
