There is no fee for this event; please sign in to register.

Join us for the kick-off event for the Lawyers Network at the Center for Reproductive Rights. Center President & CEO Nancy Northup will introduce the Lawyers Network and speak about the vital role lawyers can play in safeguarding constitutional protections for bodily autonomy and reproductive decision-making. We will then hear from Eric Schneiderman, Attorney General of New York State, and Melissa Murray, Alexander F. and May T. Morrison Professor of Law at Berkeley Law. During a conversation moderated by Slate Magazine Senior Editor Dahlia Lithwick, our speakers will reflect on the 2016 Supreme Court decision in Whole Woman's Health v. Hellerstedt and the current state of reproductive rights law. Guests will have the opportunity to engage with our speakers on these issues, and to learn more about participating in the Lawyers Network.

Light refreshments will be served.
