Description:
The Science & Law Committee invites attorneys and members of the public to a panel discussion of how environmental law, policy, and science itself have been affected by decision-making under the current Administration. We will address a variety of topics, ranging from unprecedented departures of career scientists from the Environmental Protection Agency, to ongoing suppression of previously available government data sets relating to climate change and environmental indicators. We will also discuss various efforts by local governments, non-profit agencies, and the private sector to continue environmental monitoring and protection following recent federal government actions in the environmental science domain particularly and in the federally funded scientific agencies.
